Swan Films is producing its first Meurtres à... for France Télévisions. The story takes place in the beautiful city of Chartres, where a police investigation is led by the duo of actors Alexia Barlier (Sophie Cross, Toutouyoutou) and Gil Alma (César Wagner). The direction of Meurtres à Chartres has been entrusted to Sandrine Cohen, and the story was written by Lionel Pasquier and Thomas Griffet.

Chartres Cathedral...

As a wedding is about to take place, the lifeless body of one of the witnesses is found in the crypt of the cathedral, placed on the Well of Saints-Forts. The investigation is assigned to Police Captains Victoire and Pierre Templard. Married in real life, the couple of investigators quickly realize that the murder is connected to the legend of the Pregnant Virgin. The case becomes even more sensitive as Victoire and Pierre are competing for the position of commissioner, which will soon be available. And despite the love and respect they have for each other, all bets are off.
