Synopsis: Chartres Cathedral... Just as a wedding is about to take place, the lifeless body of one of the witnesses is discovered in the cathedral’s crypt, near the Well of the Strong Saints. The investigation is assigned to Police Captains Victoire and Pierre Templard. Married in real life, the detective couple quickly realizes that the murder is connected to the legend of the Pregnant Virgin. The case becomes all the more delicate as Victoire and Pierre are both vying for the soon-to-be-vacant position of police commissioner. And it becomes clear that, despite the love and respect they have for each other, anything goes.

The dialogues hit the mark and the comedy is in full swing, just like the crime plot, in a subtle mix sprinkled with a touch of humor that perfectly suits the charming duo of Alexia Barlier and Gil Alma. The chemistry is such that we’d love to see these two again in a sequel — or more, if things go well." - Le Parisien
