GUILTY from Iris Ducorps and Jean-Christophe Tixier

A 6x52’ series created by Iris Ducorps and Jean-Christophe Tixier,
based on the eponymous novel series Guilty by Jean-Christophe Tixier.

Iris Ducorps:
After completing a university degree in Modern Literature and Performing Arts (specializing in cinema), and earning a diploma from the Conservatoire Européen d’Écriture Audiovisuelle (CEEA)’s long training program, Iris Ducorps began her screenwriting career on the daily drama Plus belle la vie. She also wrote for the youth series Cœur Océan, several scripted reality shows such as Petits secrets entre voisins, Petits secrets en famille, and Une histoire, une urgence, as well as for 52-minute dramas including Sam and Les Combattantes. She co-created her own series, Talons aiguilles et bottes de paille.

She has also co-written several TV movies in the Meurtres à… collection — Meurtres en Berry, Meurtres à Bayeux — and an episode of the series Cassandre. In parallel, she writes short stories for the literary agency Malo Quirvane, works as a script doctor for various African production companies, and teaches first-year students at the CEEA.

Jean-Christophe Tixier:
After twenty years working in education and professional training with young adults, Jean-Christophe Tixier devoted himself fully to writing. He began by publishing short stories and novels for young readers and teenagers. To date, he has published over thirty novels, several of which have been translated internationally.

A prolific author, he has also written eight radio dramas for France Inter, all broadcast in the program Nuits Noires hosted by Patrick Liegibel.

Beyond his novels, Tixier has also made his mark in graphic novels, writing several scripts. He collaborated with Ohazar on L’Â Révolution (Michel Lafon, 2019) and L’Hutopie (Michel Lafon, 2020), then with Pierpaoli on Le Grand Bug (Jungle, 2022). He also adapted his hit novel series Dix minutes into a graphic novel with Terkel Risbjerg, the first volume of which was published by Nathan Bande dessinées in 2024.

His first adult novel, Les mal aimés (Albin Michel, 2019), focused on the children’s penal colonies of France, was highly praised by both the press and booksellers, and won the Transfuge Prize for Best Crime Novel (2019). He went on to publish Effacer les hommes (2021), about women’s emancipation in the 1960s, and La Ligne (2023), which explores the mechanisms of populism through the story of two families living in a village divided by a white line. In 2021, he also released Guilty, the first volume of a YA saga, with Éditions Rageot.

Alongside his literary work, Tixier develops several audiovisual projects and has completed two screenwriting programs at the Conservatoire Européen d’Écriture Audiovisuelle (CEEA).
