Daniel Metge was born in Lyon, Rhône-Alpes. He is an active member of Prémisses, an association of screenwriters and directors based in Lyon. At the age of 30, while he was about to fulfill a brilliant computer scientist career, he realized it was high time he embraced his former dream : beeing a story teller. Therefore, he trained as a screenwriter and succeeded in directing three short films. Rear skies (2007), a Takami Production, starring Michael Lonsdale, Lila Redouane and Julie Durand. Ruts (2010), a CLC Production, starring Serge Riaboukine and Lila Redouane). My Sweetheart (2011), produced by Les Films du Cygne Production, is his last film. Daniel is currently working on the development of a short TV series, as well as a feature film project.
