SITTING THOUGHT
Directed by Mathieu Robin
Mathieu Robin was born in 1978 and now lives in Paris. After studying cinema, he writed and directed his first short-movie in 1996, Mur de verres (Wall of glass).
In 2002, he directed his short-movie Pensée Assise (Sitting Thought) selected in nearly 40 cinema festivals and would later become a novel.
Winner of the Hachette Fondation, he cowrited in 2004 with Anna Novion a feature film called Les Grandes personnes.
This movie announces the style he tries to develop in his first feature film En situation régulière, an "english comedy with french style" produced by Mazel Productions. The story of a North African boy adopted by a french family who has difficulties to find his place.
At the same time, he writes for TV a burlesque series about urban myths et a 3D animation movie produced by Bac Films and directed by Samuel Tourneux.
